Hi, I’m Lori!

An ex-East Coaster and now Oregonian. Originally a beach bunny, I grew up on a small island

called Ocean City. This little coastal town is a part of the Jersey Shore, on a barrier

island between the Great Egg Harbor and the Atlantic Ocean. When I flew

my nest I became somewhat of a globetrotter. I visited:

Egypt, Switzerland, London, England, Barcelona,

Spain, The Dominican Republic, The Cayman Islands

I bounced from job to job in hot pursuit of what I felt a passion for.

I’ve been a medical assistant for doctors and hospitals, I helped deliver babies as a

certified doula, I was a midwife’s assistant for pregnant women,

I studied plant medicine and became an herbalist, a farmer, a gardener at a nursery, and a greenhouse technician. But one thing that never has changed is my love for writing.

I am a SLAVE for the written word.

When I’m not creating compelling copy, I love to spend time with my family, write music, play guitar, cook delicious food, read, hike, camp, swim in the river, and explore places I’ve never seen.

Oregon is one of the most magical places I’ve traveled to, so I decided to plant my roots in this mystical state.

My hand is married to my pen, and my heart is married to Oregon.
